They say that old is gold. That is absolutely the case here. Released in 2016, the FARAD is a portable, fully discrete Class A headphone amplifier. The amplifier is directly driven by 6x AAA batteries, and the sound is large, dynamic, warm and pleasingly musical. It is one of those products that stood out to us for having the sound quality of larger amplifiers without the bulk and size.

By default, they come with Maxell alkaline batteries which are not rechargeable. We recommend to use NiMH rechargeable batteries.
